TL;DR: Two antibacterials, amoxicillin trihydrate and cefuroxime axetil spiked into wastewater were completely removed by sequential wastewater treatment plant's membranes, which included activated sludge, ultrafiltration, hollow fibre and spiral wound membranes, activated carbon column and reverse osmosis.
