The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) while considering the mediating effect of organizational commitment and the moderating role of power distance on this association.,Using a stratified sampling technique the data were collected from the employees working in bank branches located in five metropolitan cities (i.e. Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore, Quetta and Karachi) of Pakistan. A total of 409 responses were received and 379 questionnaires were considered for analysis. To test the hypotheses structural equation modeling technique was applied using AMOS 21.0.,The results reported an insignificant relationship between organizational justice and OCB, but the relationship between organizational justice and organizational commitment was found to be significant. It has also emerged from the analysis that organizational commitment fully mediates the relationship between organizational justice and OCB. Moreover, power distance was found to moderate the relationship between organizational justice and organizational commitment.,Findings of this study can be useful for banking organizations and policy makers responsible for employee productivity and overall employee well-being, particularly managers working on long-term organizational vision and expect employees to respond pro-socially toward fellow workers and organizational objectives. The study also provides the scope and space for potential scholars and researchers for carrying out further research.,Findings of this study can be useful for banking organizations and policy makers who have long-term vision and expect OCB from its employees to be sustainable in a dynamic market. The study also provides the scope and space for potential scholars and researchers for carrying out further research.,While extensive literature is available on organizational justice and its impact on OCB, very little work seems to have been done to examine the moderating impact of power distance between organizational justice and organizational commitment, particularly in the context of a developing country like Pakistan. Therefore, this work may be considered as original and of significant value in understanding the relationships between the various constructs in the scenario of Pakistan.

The mediating role of organizational commitment between organizational justice and organizational citizenship behavior: Power distance as moderator

This paper aims to identify the relationship between organizational learning culture, psychological contract breach, work engagement, training simulation and transfer of training, to examine the effect of transfer of training on organizational citizenship behaviour and to determine the mediating effect of transfer of training on the relationship between organizational learning culture, psychological contract breach, work engagement and training simulation with organizational citizenship behaviour. This study investigated these relationships in the context of public sector organizations in Malaysia.,The data for this study were collected by using the purposive sampling from Malaysian Civil Defence Force or Angkatan Pertahanan Awam (APM) employees who attended a disaster preparedness training programme between March to May 2015. The questionnaire was the main tool for the data gathering. The data were analysed using structural equation modelling technique using AMOS 22 version software.,The findings showed that work engagement and training simulation are the factors that influence the transfer of training, and there is a positive effect of the transfer of training on the organizational citizenship behaviour. The result also demonstrated that the transfer of training is the mediator in the relationship between work engagement, training simulation and organizational citizenship behaviour.,This study focuses on public sector areas which is Malaysia Civil Defense Force (APM). No interview session was conducted due to the time constraint in completing this study.,This study extends the existing understanding of factors that influence transfer of training and the effect of transfer of training on employees and organization. In other words, through the positive transfer of training, organizations not only attain positive returns on their training investment but also improve the performance and the work attitude of the organization’s employees.

The Factors That Influence Transfer of Training and Its Effect on Organizational Citizenship Behaviour.

Purpose – This research aimed to find out the direct impact of Affective Commitment on OCB, Work Engagement, and Knowledge Sharing and indirectly between Affective Commitment and OCB mediated by Work Engagement and Knowledge Sharing. 
Methodology/approach – The research is causal quantitative with the population are the millennial employees in one of Indonesia’s construction companies, with a sample of 287 employees. The research uses SEM PLS data analysis by SmartPLS 3.0. 
Findings – The results show a positive impact and significant from the direct effect between Affective Commitment and OCB, Affective Commitment and Work Engagement, Affective Commitment and Knowledge Sharing, Work Engagement and OCB, also Knowledge Sharing and OCB. Then, the indirect effect between Affective Commitment to OCB mediated by work engagement and knowledge sharing also has a positive impact and significan, with the mediating effect provided being complimentary. 
Novelty/value –  Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that these two mediating constructs succeeded in mediating the relationship between Affective Commitment to OCB. Although Work Engagement has a stronger mediating effect than Knowledge Sharing, these two mediating constructs have succeeded in providing complementary effects

Relationships Between Transformational Leadership and Organizational Citizenship Behavior in Ghanaian Organizations

This study aimed to study the influences of justice and trust on the organizational citizenship behavior. The questionnaire respondents were the workers at Rajamangala University of Technology. Data analysis was done through structural equation modeling to test the purpose model and compare between the groups via multiple groups analysis approach. It was found that justice and trust have a positive statistical significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior. Moreover, justice has a positive statistical significant influence on trust. Generation X and Generation Y differently perceive the influences of justice and trust on organizational citizenship behavior. Generation X paid attention to the influence of justice on the organizational citizenship behavior while generation Y paid attention to the influence of trust on justice, the chief will implement justice in the organization for both generations to build trust in the chief and the organization. This would lead to future achievements in the organization.

The Influences of Justice and Trust on the Organizational Citizenship Behavior of Generation X and Generation Y

A literature review revealed that the effect of organizational justice on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) had been heavily examined as an overall relationship. However, there is a lack of research that examined the effect of organizational justice dimensions on OCB via affective organizational commitment as a mediator. Therefore, this research is an attempt to provide a value theoretical model that explains the relationships between dimensions of organizational justice and OCB as well as tries to describe in detail meaning of this relationship through the mediating effect of affective organizational commitment in the context of social exchange theory. Furthermore, the proposed hypotheses on the link between these variables are provided as a foundation for further research.
