Synthesis of the first nano ionic liquid 1-methylimidazolium trinitromethanide {[HMIM]C(NO2)3} and its catalytic use for Hanztsch four-component condensation
Mohammad Ali Zolfigol,Saeed Baghery,Ahmad Reza Moosavi-Zare,Seyed Mohammad Vahdat,Heshmatollah Alinezhad,Mohammad Norouzi +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a green and reusable nano ionic liquid and catalyst, namely 1-methylimidazolium trinitromethanide {[HMIM]C(NO2)3}, was designed and fully characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and IR, mass, X-ray diffraction patterns (XRD) and Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis.

Dinitrogen Tetroxide Complexes of Iron and Copper Nitrates as New Reagents for Selective Mono- and Dinitration of Phenolic Compounds
TL;DR: In this paper, a synergetic effect on the rates and yields of the reactions was observed in the mononitration reactions, and a high ratio of p-nitrophenol formation vs o-nitrogen synthesis was also observed.

Fe3O4@TiO2@O2PO2(CH2)NHSO3H as a novel nanomagnetic catalyst: Application to the preparation of 2-amino-4,6-diphenylnicotinonitriles via anomeric-based oxidation
TL;DR: In this paper, a green and reusable nanomagnetic heterogeneous catalyst, namely Fe3O4@TiO2@O2PO2(CH2)NHSO3H, was synthesized and fully characterized using suitable techniques such as infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning and transmission electron microscopies, thermogravimetry, vibrating sample magnetometry and energy-dispersive X -ray spectroscope.
