This article reviews the exposure ratio of Jokowi and Prabowo in the YouTube channel. Joko Widodo’s alias, Jokowi, is the President of the Republic of Indonesia 2014-2019. He will re-join the 2019 presidential election, while Prabowo Subianto is a challenger who is supported by the Gerindra Party and the Prosperous Prosperity Party. The analytical method uses the semiotic concept of Strauss and John Fiske, who view the video as a sign system. The sign system is parsed through five political codes: lifestyle, transfer of power, existence, ideology and vision. This study finds that, in general, Jokowi's videos were more visited and preferred than Prabowo's videos, but Prabowo excelled in the transfer code of power, existence and ideology. In the video, Jokowi tends to impress himself as a person who has several characters. As the President of Indonesia, Jokowi displays a diligent character. As a political activist, Jokowi reinforces his ideology as a nationalist. As a citizen, Jokowi imitates the figure who adheres to the values of tradition As a man, Jokowi impressed himself as a humanist. Prabowo tends to feature a lavish lifestyle with equestrian sport with a historical background of the descendants of an economic Democrat Prof Sumitro Djojohadikusumo and associates himself like Soekarno. Prabowo tends to show his affiliation to the right Islamists. The contestation of the 2019 presidential election followed by Jokowi and Prabowo will show the battle of two different sources of legitimacy.

The history of the collapse of the Majapahit showed the discourse of power. In this context  rule has been supporting a particular version of historical knowledge. Applying  historical method and multi-dimensional approach, this study aims to find out why the knowledge about the collapse of Majapahit spreading among community members was more tended toward the version that Girindra-wardhana  as a single actor who overthrow Prabu Brawijaya V. The results of this study indicated  that the knowledge  among Javanese  community about the collapse  of Majapahit that stated Girindrawardhana as the sole actor that attacked  and subverted  the kingdom of Majapahit which at the time was ruled by King Kertabhumi (Brawijaya V) is supported by a wide range of all power of the ruling elite that were largely due to ideological motives. Power and ideology are used as a means of legalizing knowledge. *** Sejarah runtuhnya Majapahit memunculkan diskursus yang menampilkan ke­kuasaan. Dengan demikian kekuasaan telah menyokong versi pengetahuan sejarah tertentu. Dengan menggunakan metode sejarah dan pendekatan multi-dimensional, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengapa penge­tahuan tentang peristiwa runtuhnya Majapahit yang berkembang dalam masyarakat lebih me­nisbatkan pada versi Girindrawardhana sebagai aktor tunggal yang melengserkan kekuasaan Prabu Brawijaya V. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjuk­kan bahwa pengetahuan masyarakat Jawa mengenai peristiwa runtuhnya Majapahit yang meletakkan Girindrawardhana sebagai aktor tunggal yang menyerang dan menumbangkan kerajaan Majapahit yang pada waktu diperintah oleh Prabu Kertabhumi (Brawijaya V) disokong oleh berbagai ke­kuataan elit penguasa yang sebagian besar karena motif ideologi. Kekuasaan dan ideologi digunakan sebagai alat legalisasi pengetahuan.

This research refers to the trend of women's makeup in the 2020 era, which is dominated by natural makeup. Influencers and makeup artists have a role in popularizing it. The author is interested in examining the makeup behavior in women with Bourdieu's theory. What behaviors make a woman look natural, prioritize skin health, minimal makeup. What culture is behind it. The findings of this study are all women like makeup, habitus leads to natural makeup. Habitus emphasized freedom in analyzing a practice as an agent and social structure. Women have a habitus in using makeup determined by a dual mechanism not just the dominance of social media factors, but also played by self-freedom as women as influencers in the social media itself. The arena is an environment where strength is at stake in the struggle over capital resources. Social media is an arena, a different social space, more enabling women to compete more dynamically in gaining position and legitimacy. Women use practices in makeup as a strategy in winning a competition. The makeup practice is an accumulation of women's capital and habitus, where every woman is different in her practice. The method used in this research includes in-depth interviews with women who use makeup, as well as literacy studies of the concepts of capital, habitus, and the realm. The results showed that women undergoing their practice experienced "ambiguity" or dilemmas when using make-up strategies in their social arena.

Women and Make-Up: The Dilemma of Bourdieu's Subjectivism-Objectivism on Social Media

Kajian ini menunjukkan, pertama, konflik internal yang melanda PKB dipicu oleh masalah yang bersifat pragmatis terkait dengan perebutan posisi dalam partai. Faktor pemicu yang bersifat pragmatis itu tidak hanya berlaku ketika kalangan nahdliyin bergabung dengan komponen bangsa yang lain, seperti ditunjukkan oleh studi Deliar Noer (kasus NU keluar dari Masyumi) dan Bahtiar Effendy (kasus NU keluar dari PPP), namun studi ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor pragmatis itu juga berlaku saat konflik di antara sesama fungsionaris partai yang dilahirkan oleh kalangan nahdliyin terjadi. Studi Kang Young Soon yang menyimpulkan bahwa konflik merupakan “salah satu tradisi NU” pada akhirnya perlu ditambah dengan penjelasan bahwa “konflik yang dipicu oleh masalah pragmatisme kekuasaan merupakan salah satu tradisi NU.” Memang pemah ada konflik karena faktor ideologi, namun pragmatisme kekuasaan seringkah menjadi motif di balik perseteruan NU dengan pihak lain ataupun dengan sesama kalangan nahdliyin seperti terlihat pada kasus konflik internal PKB. Kedua, terjadi pergeseran nilai dalam hubungan kiai-santri dalam tradisi pesantren yang menganut pola hubungan patron-klien ketika kalangan nahdliyin berkiprah di wilayah politik. Kasus konflik internal PKB ini menunjukkan bahwa sikap saling percaya yang menjadi unsur pembentuk budaya pesantren bisa berubah karena masalah pragmatisme kekuasaan. Konflik internal partai politik: studi kasus partai kebangkitan bangsa

The background of this research is the conflict began with an inharmony between political party leaders and legislators, especially those who have become legislative members and intend to advance again as legislative candidates from the same party. It aims to provide solutions for political parties in the election nomination. It reveals conflict in the preparation of candidates in the elections of 2019. Researchers collect data from political party information and media coverage by comparing news. The method is qualitative with analysis using Paul Conn's conflict structure theory to produce alternative solutions. The results is a difference in expectations and designs between political party leaders and incumbent legislators, according to political party leaders that legislative incumbents need to have an evaluation so they are displaced from candidates for those who were not optimally fighting for political parties, different perspectives of incumbent legislators because they feel have struggled be serious and prepare for second (more) contestation. The legislative incumbent who should be eligible to advance back from the same electoral district then tries to find a new path by advancing again as a legislative candidate by using other political parties. The Conclusion is shifting legislative candidates and changes in the acquisition of election results show the dynamics of political party conflict affect the outcome.

Social Conflict In Contestation Of Indonesia Election

Reporting on voters with disabilities in the Pilkada is a concern because of the importance of them exercising their right to vote sometimes not in accordance with the existence of their aspirations for the future of a region. Their reporting in the range of the Covid-19 Pandemic Pilkada is relatively massive, but they are more difficult to identify the candidates for regional heads to be elected. The purpose of this study is to determine the participation of voters with disabilities in the 2020 elections. This study uses a mixed method of qualitative and quantitative based on media discourse in reporting on voters with disabilities. The theory of rationality is used to analyze the participation of disabled voters in an atmosphere of covid-19 with media coverage. The results of the reseach explain that media coverage has an effect on the participation of disabled voters even though they have not presented them at the polling station optimally. Voters' trust and distrust of regional head candidates plays a major role in the presence of disabled voters.
