This article deals with the influence of the alloy temper during heat treatment on mechanical and corrosion properties of aluminium alloys 2024 (Al-Cu-Mg) and 6064 (Al-Mg-Si). For the experiment initial alloy tempers 2024-T351 and 6064-T8 were heat treated to three conditions - underaged, peak aged (T6) and overaged - to simulate the circumstances during the manufacturing process. Structure of all conditions and tempers was observed. The mechanical properties - hardness, yield strength, ultimate strength and elongation - and corrosion properties - maximum depth of corrosion attack peneration and corrosion rate in Audi immersion test for automotive industry (internal standard PV 11 13) - were measured. Structures of investigated alloy show evidence of intermediate phases arrangement in the direction of plastic deformation and they do not change during heat treatment. The lowest hardness, yield strength and ultimate strength have the underaged samples, the highest hardness, yield strength and ultimate strength have peak aged (2024) or initial samples (6064). Elongation decreases with ageing time or ageing temperature. In case of alloy 2024 corrosion rate and maximum depth of corrosion attack penetration increase with ageing time or temperature, in case of alloy 6064 corrosion rate increases with increasing ageing time or temperature while maximum depth of corrosion attack penetration decreases. Both alloys are attacked by intergranular corrosion with initiating surface pits.

Faced with the problem of generation for 3D machining process model, an approach to generate three dimensional machining process model according to information from design model based on definition is proposed. Compared with the existing methods, the approach utilizes multiple information of design model based on definition and takes many phases into consideration of 3D process model generation. The structure of 3D machining process model is defined and the course of 3D process model generation is researched, including multiple information acquirement, generation of procedure geometric models and annotation. Finally, the framework of system and application for 3D machining process model generation are presented for validation purposes.

To strengthen the application efficiency of 3D machining procedure model and the contact of process design stage and process implementation stage, and to reduce complicated issues of process change, machining process design and change based on the manufacturing resource information in MBD mode is proposed. Integration framework of manufacturing resources field and 3D machining process design and change are analyzed, manufacturing resource feature model of 3D machining process model is described, monitoring the manufacturing resource and collecting static and dynamic data of manufacturing resources through RFID is put forward, change of 3D machining procedure model caused by manufacturing resource conflicts are discussed, a closed-loop system structure of packaging manufacturing resource information and machining process change is established.

The Research of Machining Process Design Based on Manufacturing Resources in MBD Mode

To tackle process knowledge discovery difficulty in machining process, this paper studies knowledge discovery method of 2.5–dimensional machining characteristics based on process model with model based definition technology, and finds out machining process design knowledge with the natural structured process description ability of MBD process model. Firstly, the composition of machining geometry ontology and process ontology is analyzed. Secondly, decision tree between ontology are obtained by analyzing abundant samples of MBD process model. Thus, the process and method of reasoning from geometry ontology to process ontology is achieved. Finally, the validity of process knowledge discovery method is exemplified with a group of MBD process models.
