Combined effects of jarosite and visible light on chalcopyrite dissolution mediated by Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans
Baojun Yang,Mo Lin,Jing-hua Fang,Ruiyong Zhang,Wen Luo,Xingxing Wang,Rui Liao,Bai-qiang Wu,Jun Wang,Jun Wang,Min Gan,Min Gan,Bin Liu,Zhang Yi,Xueduan Liu,Wenqing Qin,Guanzhou Qiu +16 more
TL;DR: The results indicated that jarosite and visible light could significantly accelerate chalcopyrite biodissolution, thus releasing more copper ions, iron ions and producing more acid, which suggests enhanced generation of AMD under these conditions.

Pretreatment with acidic ferric sulfate leaching promotes the bioleaching of bornite
Shitong Liu,Shitong Liu,Maoxin Hong,Maoxin Hong,Xingxing Wang,Xingxing Wang,Baojun Yang,Baojun Yang,Hao Lin,Hao Lin,Mo Lin,Mo Lin,Jun Wang,Jun Wang,Guanzhou Qiu,Guanzhou Qiu +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the leaching of bornite by pretreatment with acidic ferric sulfate leaching for different times following bio-leaching, and they found that the acidiferric sulfates leaching was more efficient than the bioleaching in the early stage.

XRD and Synchrotron-Based XRD Study of Chalcopyrite Leaching Catalyzed by Silver Ions
Liao Rui,Wang Jun,Shitong Liu,Hao Lin,Mo Lin,Shichao Yu +5 more
- 01 Jan 2020
TL;DR: In this paper, the intermediate of chalcopyrite in chemical leaching and bio-leaching was investigated, and the results showed that the copper extraction was significant promoted from 39 to 96% and from 60 to 95% of chemical leach and bioleaching systems, respectively.
