Synthesis, single crystal X-ray analysis, and TEM for a single-sized Au11 cluster stabilized by SR ligands: The interface between molecules and particles
Keiko Nunokawa,Satoru Onaka,Mitsuhiro Ito,Makoto Horibe,Tetsu Yonezawa,Hiroshi Nishihara,Tomoji Ozeki,Hirokazu Chiba,Seiji Watase,Masami Nakamoto +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an SR modified Au cluster with a sub-nanometer size, Au11(S-4-NC5H4)3(PPh3)7 (1), has been synthesized by NaBH4 reduction of Au (S-py) or by reacting [Au9(Pph3)8](NO3)3 with HS-4py in good yield.

Structure, Magnetism, and Ionic Conductivity of the Gigantic {Mo176}-Wheel Assembly: Na15Fe3Co16[Mo176O528H3(H2O)80]Cl27·450H2O
Hiroyuki Imai,Tomoyuki Akutagawa,Fumito Kudo,Mitsuhiro Ito,Kazuhiro Toyoda,Shin Ichiro Noro,Leroy Cronin,Takayoshi Nakamura +7 more
TL;DR: Single crystals of the nanoscale polyoxomolybdate wheel was synthesized by the condensation reaction of Na(15)Fe(3)Co(16)[Mo(176)O(528)(H(2)O)(80)]Cl(27) x 450 H( 2)O, and these crystals were characterized by the synchrotron-based X-ray single crystal analysis, magnetic susceptibility, and ionic conductivity measurements.

Substituent effects on aurophilicity and π–π interaction in crystals of arylphosphine–Au(I) derivatives. Synthesis and X-ray structural studies of compounds (CX3C6H4)3PAuX and {(CF3)2C6H3}3PAuX
TL;DR: Substituent effects on aurophilic interactions have been explored by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods for a series of Au(I) complexes of monodentate phosphines as mentioned in this paper.

The effect of carbon chain length of the diphosphine ligand on the aurophilic interaction. Synthesis and X-ray structural study for a series of Au(I) compounds with Ph2P–R–PPh2 and S-(CH2)n-py ligands
Satoru Onaka,Masanobu Yaguchi,Ryuichiro Yamauchi,Tomoji Ozeki,Mitsuhiro Ito,Tetsuya Sunahara,Yukako Sugiura,Michito Shiotsuka,Keiko Nunokawa,Makoto Horibe,Kazuya Okazaki,Akifumi Iida,Hirokazu Chiba,Katsuya Inoue,Hiroyuki Imai,Katsuya Sako +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of the carbon chain length for Ph 2 P-R-PPh 2 (R ǫ = 0 to 2) and S -(CH 2 ) n -pyridine ligand on the aurophilic interaction has been explored systematically.

A new 19-metal-atom cluster [(Me2PhP)10Au12Ag7(NO3)9] with a nearly staggered–staggered M5 ring configuration
Keiko Nunokawa,Mitsuhiro Ito,Tetsuya Sunahara,Satoru Onaka,Tomoji Ozeki,Hirokazu Chiba,Yasuhiro Funahashi,Hideki Masuda,Tetsu Yonezawa,Hiroshi Nishihara,Masami Nakamoto,Mari Yamamoto +11 more
TL;DR: New mixed metal clusters with M19 metal frameworks have been synthesized by NaBH4 reduction of Au(NO3)(PMe2Ph) together with AgNO3 in ethanol providing a view of the cluster growth process.
