Characterization of the complete mitochondrial genome sequence of Homalogaster paloniae (Gastrodiscidae, Trematoda) and comparative analyses with selected digeneans.
Xin Yang,Lixia Wang,Hanli Feng,Mingwei Qi,Zongze Zhang,Chong Gao,Chunqun Wang,Min Hu,Rui Fang,Chengye Li +9 more
TL;DR: Phylogenetic analysis of H. paloniae and other 17 selected digeneans using concatenated amino acid sequences of the 12 protein-coding genes showed that Gastrodiscidae is closely related to Paramphistomidae and Gastrothylacidae.

First survey of parasitic helminths of goats along the Han River in Hubei Province, China.
Xin Yang,Robin B. Gasser,Robin B. Gasser,Rui Fang,Jinrong Zeng,Kaixiang Zhu,Mingwei Qi,Zongze Zhang,Li Tan,Weiqiang Lei,Yanqin Zhou,Junlong Zhao,Min Hu +12 more
TL;DR: The prevalence of helminths was high throughout the year, particularly for gastrointestinal nematodes, and the findings emphasise the need to undertake prevalence surveys in other regions of China where extensive farming practices are used.

- 22 Apr 2015
TL;DR: In this article, a loop-mediated isothermal amplification detection kit and a detection method for haemonchus contortus was presented, which consists of three pairs of primers as follows: F3: 5'-TGTGGCTAATTTCAACATTGT-3'; an outer primer B3:5'-AAGAACATCGTCGCCATACA-3', an inner primer FIP: 5'ACAATTTCATAACATCACGTTGCCAAATGGCATTTGTCTTTTAG-3'.

Development and Evaluation of a Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (Lamp) Assay for the Detection of Haemonchus contortus in Goat Fecal Samples
Xin Yang,Mingwei Qi,Z. Z. Zhang,Chong Gao,Chunqun Wang,Weiqiang Lei,Li Tan,Junlong Zhao,Rui Fang,Min Hu +9 more
TL;DR: A LAMP assay with a high specificity and a good sensitivity has been developed to detect H. contortus infection in goats and is useful for clinical diagnosis of H.contortus.
