Dysfunction of regulatory T cells in patients with ankylosing spondylitis is associated with a loss of Tim-3.
TL;DR: Interestingly, the ratio of Tim‐3−/Tim‐3+ Treg cells in AS patients was directly correlated with the Bath ankylosing spondylitis disease activity index (BASDAI) score, the C‐reactive protein (CRP) level, and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR).

A Positive Feedback Loop Between Th17 Cells and Dendritic Cells in Patients with Endplate Inflammation.
Jian Wang,Wanju Sun,Allen Bond,Chengpin Xu,Kai Li,Donglin Ren,Xin Song,Fang Tan,Kun Jiao,Ming Ni,Jun Zhang,Yunpeng Bai,Mingfei Wang +12 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that Th17 cells from patients with endplate inflammation could potently induce the differentiation and activation of DCs that preferentially promoted IL-17 response in a positive feedback loop.

A CBL4-CIPK6 module confers salt tolerance in cucumber
Mingfei Wang,Songlin Yang,Lei Sun,Zhongxuan Feng,Yiming Gao,Xuling Zhai,Yuming Dong,Haoying Wu,Yuanyuan Cui,Sen Li,Shuo Xu,Ezra S. Bartholomew,Huazhong Ren,Xing guo Liu +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors demonstrate that calcineurin B-like proteins (CBLs) can sense and bind Ca 2+ signals and regulate CBL-interacting protein kinases (CIPKs) to transmit signals and induce cellular responses.

Patients with idiopathic endplate inflammation displayed aberrant Th17 responses resulting in proinflammatory monocyte activation.
Jian Wang,Wanju Sun,Allen Bond,Chengpin Xu,Kai Li,Donglin Ren,Xin Song,Fang Tan,Kun Jiao,Mingfei Wang +9 more
TL;DR: Together, this work has identified a systemic upregulation of Th17 responses that could contribute to proinflammatory monocyte activation in patients with endplate inflammation.

Prognostic Significance of CircRNAs Expression in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma.
TL;DR: The meta-analysis implies that circRNAs may be candidate biomarkers for the prognosis and clinicopathology of OSCC, and higher level of oncogenic circ RNAs is related to advanced TNM stage and tumor stage, worse histological differentiation, lymph node and distant metastasis.
