Automatic Sleep Stage Classification With Single Channel EEG Signal Based on Two-Layer Stacked Ensemble Model
Jinjin Zhou,Guangsheng Wang,Junbiao Liu,Duanpo Wu,Weifeng Xu,Zimeng Wang,Jing Ye,Ming Xia,Ying Hu,Yuanyuan Tian +9 more
TL;DR: An automatic sleep staging system which uses single channel electroencephalogram (EEG) signal, for convenience of wearing and less interference in the sleep, to do automatic identification of various sleep stages is developed and the recognition rate of N1 stage is significantly improved.
Circadian clock disruptions link oxidative stress and systemic inflammation to metabolic syndrome in obstructive sleep apnea patients
Xiao-Min Li,Xue Liu,Q. Meng,Xinhao Wu,Xin Bing,Na Guo,Xuening Zhao,Xiaozhi Hou,Baowei Wang,Ming Xia,Hui Li +10 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that circadian clock disruptions, especially Dec1, link OSA with MetS in an oxidative and inflammatory-related manner.

Obstructive sleep apnea-increased DEC1 regulates systemic inflammation and oxidative stress that promotes development of pulmonary arterial hypertension
Xiao-Min Li,Xiang Zhang,Xiaozhi Hou,Xin Bing,Fang Qing Zhu,Xinhao Wu,Na Guo,Huiping Zhao,Fenglei Xu,Ming Xia +9 more
TL;DR: Results suggest that hypoxia-induced DEC1 inhibits PPARγ, and that this is a predominant mechanism underpinning oxidative stress and inflammatory responses in PASMCs during PAH, which could be used as a potential target to treat PAH.

The effects of obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) on learn and memory function of 6-12 years old children.
Hui Li,Luqiu Chen,Xinhao Wu,Fang Qing Zhu,Xin Bing,Xiao-Min Li,Wenwen Qi,Ming Xia,Xiang Cai Zhang,Xuening Zhao +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used auditory verbal learning test (AVLT), clock drawing test (CDT), Wechsler intelligence scale for children (WISC), and Montreal cognitive assessment (MoCA) to evaluate the memory and spatial impairments of obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) in 6-12 years old children patients with different severity.

[The modified Valsalva maneuver in hypopharynx CT scan].
Xuhui Liang,Fenglei Xu,Ming Xia,Lihui Zhuang,Xiao-Min Li,Xiaozhi Hou,Jiangfei Yang +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors analyzed the significance and factors influencing of CT scan under the modified Valsalva maneuver and found that the exposure effect was better with long neck length, smaller neck circumference, head length, BMI, tumor site and T stage.
