Potent anti-angiogenesis and anti-tumor activity of a novel human anti-VEGF antibody, MIL60
Jing Yang,Qun Wang,Chunxia Qiao,Zhou Lin,Xinying Li,Yifei Huang,Tingting Zhou,Yan Li,Beifen Shen,Ming Lv,Jiannan Feng +10 more
TL;DR: A novel anti-VEGF neutralizing antibody, MIL60, is reported, which shows an affinity comparable to that of Avastin and was shown to inhibit tumor growth and angiogenesis in vivo in xenograft models of human colon carcinoma and ovarian cancer using immunotherapy and immunohistochemistry analysis.
Human parvovirus PARV4 in plasma pools of Chinese origin.
TL;DR: Results showed that 26·15% (51/195) of lots tested positive for PARV4, and the amounts of DNA ranged from 2·83 × 103 copies/ml to 2·35×107 copies/ml plasma, suggesting the high level ofPARV4 in plasma pools may pose a potential risk to recipients.

A novel human scFv fragment against TNF-α from de novo design method
Hong Chang,Weisong Qin,Yan Li,Jiyan Zhang,Zhou Lin,Ming Lv,Yingxun Sun,Jiannan Feng,Beifen Shen +8 more
TL;DR: It is indicated that the framework of antibody variable region could serve as an ideal scaffold for displaying the peptides and provides a novel strategy to design TNF-alpha inhibitors with the ability to block the deleterious biological effects of T NF-alpha.

Neddylation controls basal MKK7 kinase activity in breast cancer cells
TL;DR: The inhibition of ubiquitination-like post-translational modification neddylation through different strategies results in enhanced basal JNK phosphorylation in human breast cancer cells, and reveals that MKK7, a JNK-specific MAP2K, undergoes neddolation in human Breast cancer cells.

Defective anchoring of JNK1 in the cytoplasm by MKK7 in Jurkat cells is associated with resistance to Fas-mediated apoptosis
Jing Wang,Ruihong Tang,Ming Lv,Qingyang Wang,Xueying Zhang,Yuanyuan Guo,Hong Chang,Chunxia Qiao,He Xiao,Xinying Li,Yan Li,Beifen Shen,Jiyan Zhang +12 more
TL;DR: MKK7 works as a cytoplasmic anchoring protein for JNK1 in various cell lines but exhibits aberrant nuclear entry in Jurkat cells, which leads to resistance to Fas-mediated apoptosis.
