Correlation of hormone receptor status between circulating tumor cells, primary tumor, and metastasis in breast cancer patients
Kevin Kalinsky,Julie Ann Mayer,Xunhai Xu,Tam Pham,Karina Wong,Eligie Villarin,Tony J. Pircher,Mindy Brown,Matthew Maurer,Farideh Z. Bischoff +9 more
TL;DR: CTC ER/PR status using the OncoCEE™ platform is feasible, with high concordance in ER/pr status between tumor tissue (IHC) and CTCs (ICC), and the prognostic and predictive significance of CTC ER/ PR protein expression needs further evaluation in larger trials.
Predicting tumor response in breast cancer patients using diffuse optical tomography
Jacqueline Gunther,Emerson A. Lim,Hyun K. Kim,Molly Lara Flexman,Susan Refice,Mindy Brown,Kevin Kalinsky,Dawn L. Hershman,Andreas H. Hielscher +8 more
- 12 May 2013
TL;DR: Preliminary results have shown that tumor response can be predicted by the second week of treatment and a diffuse optical tomography imaging system to track breast tumor progression in patients undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy is developed.
Combined dynamic and static optical tomography for prediction of treatment outcome in breast cancer patients
Jacqueline Gunther,Emerson A. Lim,Hyun K. Kim,Molly Lara Flexman,Lukas Zweck,Sindhiya Arora,Susan Refice,Mindy Brown,Kevin Kalinsky,Dawn L. Hershman,Andreas H. Hielscher +10 more
- 16 Jul 2015
TL;DR: Evidence that a combination of dynamic and static diffuse optical tomography can be used to predict treatment response in patients undergoing neo adjuvant chemotherapy is explored.

Using diffuse optical tomograpy to monitor tumor response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer patients
Jacqueline Gunther,Emerson A. Lim,Hyun K. Kim,Molly Lara Flexman,Mindy Brown,Susan Refrice,Kevin Kalinsky,Dawn L. Hershman,Andreas H. Hielscher +8 more
TL;DR: A diffuse optical tomography (DOT) imaging system for monitoring the response of breast cancer patients to neoadjuvant chemotherapy and preliminary results show that there is statistical significance for the percent change of HbO2, HbT, and percent water at week 2 from the baseline between patients with a pathologic response to chemotherapy.

Diffuse Optical Tomography Imaging System for Monitoring Breast Tumor Response to Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy
Jacqueline Gunther,Molly Lara Flexman,Emerson A. Lim,Hyun K. Kim,Mindy Brown,Dawn L. Hershman,Andreas H. Hielscher +6 more
TL;DR: A diffuse optical tomography system that can be used to perform longitudinal studies of breast tumors during neoadjuvant chemotherapy and preliminary results demonstrate that DOT can image early tumor vascular response to treatment.
