Single-Injection Midpoint Transverse Process-to- Pleura Block Versus Thoracic Paravertebral Block for Postoperative Analgesia After Uniportal Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery: A Randomized Controlled Trial.
TL;DR: The analgesic effect of single-level-injection MTPB is noninferior to that of TPVB in patients undergoing uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (uVATS) and may be preferable.

Tungsten disulfide nanosheets supported poly(xanthurenic acid) as a signal transduction interface for electrochemical genosensing applications
TL;DR: In this article, a simple ultrasonic method was used to obtain a nanosheets from bulk Tungsten disulfide (WS2) and supported poly(xanthurenic acid) (PXa) for electrochemical genosensing, which not only served as a substrate for DNA immobilization but also reflected the electrochemical transduction originating from DNA hybridization.

Comparison of the innovative endoscopic oropharyngeal airway and the conventional mouthpiece in elderly outpatients undergoing esophagogastroduodenoscopy under sedation: a prospective and randomized study
Wei Zhang,Chun-dong Zhu,Xu Chen,Lei Tao,Keqiang He,Hao Wu,Xiaoqing Chai,Shenghong Wang,Min Xia +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the ability of the innovative endoscopic oropharyngeal airway to reduce the frequency of hypoxia during esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) in elderly patients.
Effects of Different Injection Rates of Propofol on Postoperative Cognition in Elderly Patients Undergoing Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair
Tingting Li,Wenjing Han,Xin-lu Yang,Jiayuan Liu,Min Xia,Sheng Wang +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , the effects of different injection rates of propofol on postoperative cognition in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair were explored, and it was shown that lowering the injection rate of Propofol (such as 30 mg kg−1 h−1) cannot decrease the incidence of early postoperative cognitive decline, but reduces induction dose of Prodrug and use of vasoactive drugs, making the patient's hemodynamics more stable.
