One-dimensional parallax-free position-sensitive detector for diffraction measurements based on a home-made thin THGEM.
Shi Chen,Hongbang Liu,Qian Liu,Yangheng Zheng,Binglong Wang,Wen-Qian Huang,Dong Yang,Yu Rong,Xin-Da Jiao,Yu Guan,Jing Wang,Min Li,Jizhou Liu,Mengmeng Zhang +13 more
TL;DR: A large parallax-free gas diffraction meter based on a thinner-THGEM (thick gaseous electron multiplier) has been developed at the Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility and a very broad dynamic range of about 107 could be obtained.

Ion Transportation Study for Thick Gas Electron Multipliers
Bin-Long Wang,Qian Liu,Hong-Bang Liu,Hong-Bang Liu,Xiao-Kang Zhou,Shi Chen,Dong-Sheng Ge,Wen-Qian Huang,Yigang Xie,Yigang Xie,Yangheng Zheng,Dong Yang,Qiang Zhang,Xin-Da Jiao,Jing Wang,Min Li,Chang Jie +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied ion transportation for THGEMs with various high voltages and geometrical parameters and calculated the effective gain and ion back flow ratio, and showed that with a staggered triple configuration, IBF can be suppressed to 1% with a proper working high voltage.
