Blocking glutathione regeneration: Inorganic NADPH oxidase nanozyme catalyst potentiates tumoral ferroptosis
Chenyao Wu,Deliang Xu,Min Ge,Juanjuan Luo,Lisong Chen,Zhixin Chen,Yanling You,Yanrong Zhu,Han Lin,Jianlin Shi +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , a Pt-MIL-101 (Fe)-based nanocatalytic medicine (NCM) is proposed to catalyze NADPH oxidation and the following nanozyme catalytic cascade reactions to produce hydroxyl radicals and prevent GSH regeneration, thus promoting the ferroptotic death of cancer cells.

Inorganic nanosheets facilitate humoral immunity against medical implant infections by modulating immune co-stimulatory pathways
Chuang Yang,Yao Luo,Hao Shen,Min Ge,Jin Tang,Qiaojie Wang,Han Lin,Jianlin Shi,Xianlong Zhang +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , two-dimensional manganese chalcogenophosphates MnPSe 3 (MPS) nanosheets modified with polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) are capable of triggering a strong anti-bacterial biofilm humoral immunity in a mouse model of surgical implant infection via modulating antigen presentation and costimulatory molecule expression in the infectious microenvironment.
Biomimetic Nanomedicine-Triggered in Situ Vaccination for Innate and Adaptive Immunity Activations for Bacterial Osteomyelitis Treatment.
TL;DR: This study provides a proof of concept of in situ vaccination for the activation of both innate and adaptive antibacterial immune responses, providing an individual-independent bacterial immunotherapy.

Hydrogenated Germanene Nanosheets as an Antioxidative Defense Agent for Acute Kidney Injury Treatment
Zhixin Chen,Fenggang Qi,Wujie Qiu,Chenyao Wu,Ming Zong,Min Ge,Deliang Xu,Yanling You,Yanrong Zhu,Zhimin Zhang,Han Lin,Jianlin Shi +11 more
TL;DR: The use of hydrogen-terminated germanene (H-germanene) nanosheets is reported as an antioxidative defense nanoplatform against AKI in mice, and simulation results show that 2D H-germenene can effectively scavenge ROS through free radical adsorption and subsequent redox reactions.
