Campylobacter jejuni Biofilm Control with Lavandin Essential Oils and By-Products
TL;DR: A positive and moderate correlation was found between the reduction of C. jejuni intercellular signaling and adhesion, as well as between adhesion and biofilm formation, which mean novel bacterial targets are of interest for biofilm control with alternative natural agents throughout the whole food production chain.
Analysis of a chondrite meteorite from Slovenia
TL;DR: In this article, the chondrite meteorite that exploded above the city of Jesenice in north-west Slovenia on April 2009, and was partly recovered during the subsequent summer months, was investigated by the in-air method of proton-induced X-rays and gamma rays (PIXE-PIGE) and by microbeam mapping in a vacuum.
