TL;DR: In this article, a membrane/electrode assembly is proposed to provide an electrode catalyst having oxygen reducing ability, which has further improved catalytic activity and durability, where at least an anode catalyst layer 2, a first composite layer 4a, an electrolyte membrane 1, a second composite layer fourb and a cathode catalyst 3 are sequentially arranged in this order.
