Highly efficient and broadband wide-angle Holography Using Patch-Dipole Nano-antenna Reflectarrays
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate wide-angle, broadband and efficient reflection holography by utilizing coupled dipole-patch nano-antenna cells to impose an arbitrary phase profile on of the reflected light.

Degeneracy breaking of Wood's anomaly for enhanced refractive index sensing
TL;DR: In this article, an ultrasound detection technique for refractive index (RI) sensing based on an array of nanometer scale slot-antennas milled in a thin gold layer using a single lithographic step was proposed.

Quantifying the radiation efficiency of nano antennas
TL;DR: In this article, the authors quantified the radiation efficiency of a single antenna using far-field measurements of the reflectance of an array comprising identical nano-antennas and obtained extremely high overall radiation efficiencies, exceeding 82%, which can facilitate the employment of such antennas for applications in imaging, spectroscopy and solar energy harvesting.

High load sensitivity in wideband infrared dual-Vivaldi nanoantennas
TL;DR: The results presented here demonstrate the extremely wideband nature of the DVA arrays and the strong impact of load at the antenna terminals on its scattering response and render the DVAs excellent candidates for optical sensing applications.

Nano slot-antenna array refractive index sensors: approaching the conventional theoretical limit of the figure of merit
TL;DR: In this paper, an array of nanometer-scale slot-antennas milled in a thin gold layer using a single lithographic step is used to detect refractive index (RI) detection.
