Selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) before partial hepatectomy or radiofrequency destruction for treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma in cirrhotic patients: a feasibility and safety pilot study.
Mégane Lemaire,Valerio Lucidi,Fikri Bouazza,Georgios Katsanos,Bruno Vanderlinden,Hugo Levillain,Philippe Delatte,Camilo Garcia,Michael Vouche,Maria Gomez Galdon,Pieter Demetter,Amélie Deleporte,Alain Hendlisz,Patrick Flamen,Vincent Donckier +14 more
TL;DR: The overall feasibility of combining preoperative SIRT and surgery was limited and did not increase expected operative morbidity, but post-SIRT, a third of patients were refuted for surgery.

Sequential tumor-directed and lobar radioembolization before major hepatectomy for hepatocellular carcinoma
Michael Vouche,Thierry Degrez,Fikri Bouazza,Philippe Delatte,Maria Gomez Galdon,Alain Hendlisz,Patrick Flamen,Vincent Donckier +7 more
TL;DR: This case illustrates that sequential radioembolizations, delivering different 90Yttrium doses to the tumor and the future resected liver, could represent a new strategy to prepare major hepatectomy in cirrhotic patients, allowing optimal tumoricidal effect while reducing the toxicity of the global procedure.

Update on transarterial approaches to locoregional treatment in hepatocellular carcinoma
TL;DR: This review explores current knowledge and recent data about vascular-centered locoregional treatments and proposes alternate algorithms for treatment allocation and controversies remain, in particular, the relative place of bland embolization versus chemoembolization.

Intra- and interobserver reproducibility of pancreatic perfusion by computed tomography
Tiago Severo Garcia,Jean Luc Engelholm,Michael Vouche,Vânia Naomi Hirakata,Cristiane Bauermann Leitão +4 more
TL;DR: Satisfactory reproducibility of measurements was observed for TTP in all pancreatic regions, for BF in the head and BV in the tail, and these parameters seem to ensure a reasonable estimation of pancreatic perfusion.
Haemoptysis treated by bronchial artery embolisation in severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2: case report
TL;DR: The experience suggests that the treatment of severe haemoptysis by bronchial artery embolisation is feasible and effective in the case of coronavirus-19 pneumonia, and the survival benefit should be assessed in the future.
