Mechanical and Microstructural Investigation of Nickel-Based Superalloy IN718 Manufactured by Selective Laser Melting (SLM)
TL;DR: In this article, the authors compared the microstructure and the mechanical properties of the produced specimens, directly after the manufacturing process and additionally after two diverse heat treatments subsequent to manufacturing process.

High-temperature oxidation of a nickel base superalloy at different oxygen partial pressures
F. A. Pérez-González,J. H. Ramírez-Ramírez,Michael Terock,N.F. Garza-Montes-de-Oca,Uwe Glatzel,Rafael Colás +5 more
TL;DR: A series of oxidation tests were conducted for a nickel base superalloy, as these materials are used at high temperature in aggressive conditions, thus the influence of oxygen on their degradation as mentioned in this paper.

Synthesis and characterization of a Pt–Al–Cr–Ni γ/γ′-coating on the Ni-based superalloy CMSX‐4
TL;DR: In this article, the reduction of wall thickness of turbine blades brings coating systems into focus with a high oxidation resistance and mechanical strength at high temperatures, and a multi-layer coating with a nominal composition of 77Pt−12Al−6Cr−5Ni (at.%) was applied to single crystal Ni-based superalloy CMSX-4 substrates by electron beam physical vapor deposition.

Insights into deactivation and regeneration of an industrial Cu/Ni/Cr‐Al2O3 catalyst during aldehyde hydrogenation
TL;DR: In this paper, the deactivation of a heterogeneous Cu/Ni/Cr-Al2O3 aldehyde hydrogenation catalyst was studied using n-nonyl aldhyde as model reactant.

Tailored platinum-nickel nanostructures on zirconia developed by metal casting, internal oxidation and dealloying
Michael Terock,Christian Konrad,Robert Popp,Rainer Völkl,Fan Yang,David W. McComb,Michael J. Mills,Uwe Glatzel +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a new and efficient method for the in-situ synthesis of platinum-nickel nanostructures on porous zirconia is presented. Butt et al.
