Impact of endogenous Adenosine on airway hyperreactivity
TL;DR: Examination of airway physiology in mice genetically manipulated to contain low levels of the purine catabolic enzyme adenosine deaminase revealed an increase in airway responsiveness, which suggests that endogenous increases in lung adenoine concentrations are associated with alterations inAirway physiology.
