TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a description of the major features of the large-scale Mediterranean Sea circulation and the most important changes that have been observed in the physical oceanography of the basin.

The influence of the North Atlantic Oscillation on the sea-level around the northern European coasts reconsidered: the thermosteric effects
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the thermosteric contribution of the North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) to the North Sea sea-level for the winter period and found that the sea surface temperature sensitivity to the NAO is about 0.85 degrees C per unit NAO.

Sea level changes induced by local winds on the west coast of India
Prakash Mehra,Michael N. Tsimplis,R. G. Prabhudesai,Antony Joseph,Andy Shaw,Y. K. Somayajulu,Paolo Cipollini +6 more
TL;DR: The contribution of atmospheric pressure and local wind to sea level variability at Goa (West coast of India) for the period 2007-2008 is investigated in this paper, where multilinear regression analysis is used to resolve the dependence of sea level on various forcing parameters.
