TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explored teachers' experiences with overcrowded classrooms in public secondary schools in the Sekhukhune Region of Limpopo Province of South Africa and found that teachers experience numerous challenges during teaching and learning as result of large number of learners in the classrooms.

Re-thinking academic staff recruitment and retention in South African higher education institutions: towards a conceptual framework
TL;DR: In this paper, a conceptual framework that brings together the concepts of subjectivity, agency and identity as key analytical tools to understand the construction of identities was developed, where wider social context and workplace context are found to be pertinent in the identity formation.
