Investigating the endophytic bacterial diversity and community structures in seeds of genetically related maize (Zea mays L.) genotypes.
Yang Liu,Hai Yan,Xiaoxia Zhang,Ruyang Zhang,Miao Li,Tianjun Xu,Fuzhen Yang,Huajun Zheng,Jiuran Zhao +8 more
- 04 Jan 2020
TL;DR: This was the first ever use of HTS technology for investigating the endophytic bacterial diversity and community structures in seeds of genetically related maize genotypes, it was shown that, there were core microbes shared among all genotypes of seed samples, and the female parental line was more significant to impact on the composition of their hybrid seeds than male parental line.

Effects of continuous cropping of sugar beet ( Beta vulgaris L.) on its endophytic and soil bacterial community by high-throughput sequencing
TL;DR: The bacterial community structures and soil compositions have significantly changed before and after continuous cropping; however, the effects of continuous Cropping on endophytic bacteria of sugar beet were not statistically significant.
High-throughput sequencing of the microbial diversity of roasted-sesame-like flavored Daqu with different characteristics.
Xianyu Wu,Ruixue Jing,Wenhao Chen,Xiaojie Geng,Miao Li,Fuzhen Yang,Yinzhuo Yan,Yang Liu +7 more
- 02 Nov 2020
TL;DR: The microbial diversity in liquor Daqu with different sesame flavors is examined, providing a foundation for microbial regulation, while investigating the relationship between flavored liquor compounds and microorganisms.

Lutein producing prokaryotic microorganism and application thereof in lutein production
Yan Hai,Liu Yang,Miao Li,Xu Qianqian,Zhang Yufan +4 more
- 06 Dec 2019
TL;DR: In this paper, a lutein-producing prokaryotic microorganism, sphingomonas morindae NBD5, has been used to produce Lutein.
Composition and diversity of endophytic bacterial community in seeds of super hybrid rice ‘Shenliangyou 5814’ (Oryza sativa L.) and its parental lines
TL;DR: Although Principal Coordinates Analysis (PCoA) and Non-metric Multidimensional Scaling (NMDS) analysis showed that there were obvious differences in endophytic bacterial community composition and structure among the 3 samples, the dominant endophytics bacterial genus sample C and its parental lines remained consistency.
