Effects of 200 kv radiation and cobalt 60 radiation on the oral mucosa, gingiva and alveolar bone of experimental animals.
TL;DR: Single doses of x and gamma rays were applied to the oral sues of rats in an attempt to confirm the previously observed bone-sparing effect of /sup 60/Co radiation, finding that Lingual mucosa of these animals showed no changes from the normal histological appearance from 2040 r administered by either 200-kv or /Sup 60/ Co radiation.
