TL;DR: This article conducted a comparative study of science classroom practice in public and private schools in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, and found that there were extremely significant differences between the responses of the private and public school teachers.
Do years of teaching experience make a difference for teachers working in Abu Dhabi government schools
TL;DR: The authors found that teachers with more experience were far more likely to express confidence in their own abilities (selfefficacies), and the classroom practices of those between five and ten years of experience aligned most closely with inquiry-based, student-centred learning approaches applied in Abu Dhabi classrooms.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors explored possible stereotypes of scientists and their work which may exist, and which may impact upon future career aspirations, and found that students tended to draw youthful scientists of their own gender, with stereotypical characteristics, such as wearing a lab coat, performing chemistry experiments and working alone in a lab.
