TL;DR: In this article, the Gibbs monolayer was successfully transferred onto solid substrates such as Au and CaF 2, using the conventional Langmuir-Blodgett technique, and infrared transmission and reflection measurements were applied to obtain the anisotropic complex refractive indexes.
