Pembrolizumab for management of patients with NSCLC and brain metastases: long-term results and biomarker analysis from a non-randomised, open-label, phase 2 trial.
Sarah B. Goldberg,Kurt A. Schalper,Scott N. Gettinger,Amit Mahajan,Roy S. Herbst,Anne C. Chiang,Rogerio Lilenbaum,Frederick H. Wilson,Sacit Bulent Omay,James B. Yu,Lucia B. TL;DR: Pembrolizumab has activity inbrain metastases from NSCLC with PD-L1 expression at least 1% and is safe in selected patients with untreated brain metastases and further investigation of immunotherapy in patients with CNS disease fromNSCLC is warranted.

PD-L1 expression and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes in lung cancer brain metastases.
Benjamin Y. Lu,Richa Gupta,Matthew Ribeiro,Tyler F. Stewart,Veronica Chiang,Joseph N. Contessa,Adebowale J. Adeniran,Harriet M. Kluger,Lucia B. Jilaveanu,Kurt A. Schalper,Sarah B. Goldberg +10 more
TL;DR: It is shown that PD-L1 expression is associated with recurrence in patients diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer and the use of immune checkpoint inhibitors to correct this association is a viable strategy for treating these patients.

Metastatic adenocarcinoma of the prostate presenting as a solitary cystic brain mass
TL;DR: In this article , the authors describe an unusual case of a metastatic prostate carcinoma presenting as a cystic brain mass, which is even rarer for brain metastases to manifest as cystic lesions.
Spatially resolved analysis of the T cell immune contexture in lung cancer-associated brain metastases.
Benjamin Y. Lu,Richa Gupta,Adam Aguirre-Ducler,Nicole Gianino,Hailey Wyatt,Matthew Ribeiro,Veronica Chiang,Joseph N. Contessa,Adebowale J. Adeniran,Lucia B. Jilaveanu,Harriet M. Kluger,Kurt A. Schalper,Sarah B. Goldberg +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the localized expression of PD-L1, level and functional profile of major T cell subsets, and coinhibitory receptors within lung cancer-associated BrMs and primary lung tumors.
