TL;DR: In this paper , the influence of Schistosoma mansoni worm burden on multiple host vaccine-related immune parameters in a Ugandan fishing cohort (n = 75) given three doses of a Hepatitis B (HepB) vaccine at baseline and multiple timepoints post-vaccination was assessed.

TL;DR: The Schistosomiasis Control Initiative for mass drug administration (MDA) has been used to combat repeated infection following MDA, and controlled human infection (CHI) studies could enable such vaccine development as mentioned in this paper .
Effect of Schistosoma mansoni infection and its treatment on antibody responses to measles catch-up immunisation in pre-school children: A randomised trial.

TL;DR: It is suggested that S. mansoni infection among pre-school children is associated with a reduced antibody response to catch-up measles immunisation, and that praziquantel treatment improves the response.
