Assessment of circadian rhythms of both skin temperature and motor activity in infants during the first 6 months of life.
Matilde Zornoza-Moreno,Silvia Fuentes-Hernández,Manuel Sanchez-Solis,Maria Angeles Rol,Elvira Larqué,Juan Antonio Madrid +5 more
TL;DR: Circadian rhythms of skin temperature and motor activity appeared by 3 mos in most babies, and a high degree of correlation was found between chronobiological parametric and nonparametric tests for mean and mesor and for relative amplitude versus the cosinor-derived amplitude.

Is low docosahexaenoic acid associated with disturbed rhythms and neurodevelopment in offsprings of diabetic mothers
Matilde Zornoza-Moreno,Silvia Fuentes-Hernández,V Carrión,Mavi Alcántara-López,Juan Antonio Madrid,Concepción López-Soler,Manuel Sanchez-Solis,Elvira Larqué +7 more
TL;DR: Lower DHA levels in cord plasma of ODMs could affect their neurodevelopment and maternal DHA status was also associated with higher values in the sleep rhythm maturation parameters of children.

Ontogeny and aging of the distal skin temperature rhythm in humans
H. Batinga,Antonio Martinez-Nicolas,Matilde Zornoza-Moreno,Manuel Sanchez-Solis,Elvira Larqué,M. T. Mondéjar,María Teresa Moreno-Casbas,F. J. García,Manuel Campos,Maria Angeles Rol,Juan Antonio Madrid +10 more
TL;DR: Evaluating the degree of maturation and aging of the circadian pattern of distal skin temperature found those parameters that are modified throughout life and could be used to differentiate subjects according to their age can be used as a robust variable to discern between different ages throughout the life.
Influence of gestational diabetes on circadian rhythms of children and their association with fetal adiposity
Matilde Zornoza-Moreno,Silvia Fuentes-Hernández,María T. Prieto-Sánchez,José E. Blanco,Ana Pagán,M. A. Rol,Juan José Parrilla,Juan Antonio Madrid,Manuel Sanchez-Solis,Elvira Larqué +9 more
TL;DR: To analyse the circadian rhythm maturation of temperature, activity and sleep during the first year of life in offspring of diabetic mothers (ODM) and its relationship with obesity markers, researchers use a probabilistic approach.

The Nutrition in Early Life and Asthma (NELA) birth cohort study: Rationale, design, and methods
Eva Morales,Maria V Alcantara-Lopez,Juan Cabezas-Herrera,Teresa De Diego,Trinidad Hernández-Caselles,Pedro Jiménez-Guerrero,Elvira Larqué,Concepción López-Soler,Carmen Martínez-Graciá,Antonela Martinez-Torres,Elena Martín-Orozco,Jaime Mendiola,Anibal Nieto-Diaz,José Antonio Noguera,Virginia Pérez-Fernández,M Teresa Prieto-Sánchez,Carme Salvador-Garcia,Manuel Sanchez-Solis,Marina Santaella-Pascual,Rosa A Sola-Martinez,Alberto M. Torres-Cantero,Genoveva Yagüe-Guirao,Matilde Zornoza-Moreno,Luis Garcia-Marcos +23 more
TL;DR: The NELA cohort study as mentioned in this paper investigated whether the following factors contribute causally to the developmental origins of asthma: maternal obesity/adiposity and foetal growth; maternal and child nutrition; outdoor air pollution; endocrine disruptors; and maternal psychological stress.
