Quantification of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate released by medical devices during respiratory assistance and estimation of patient exposure.
Yassine Bouattour,Mathieu Wasiak,Lise Bernard,Jérémy Pinguet,Damien Richard,Mégane Le Rouzo-Grèves,Imen Dhifallah,Céline Lambert,Bruno Pereira,Philip Chennell,Valérie Sautou +10 more
TL;DR: Model application to two patients undergoing two different respiratory procedure demonstrated that noninvasive ventilation patient received higher dose of inhaled DEHP, confirmed by DEHP metabolites quantification in urine, and the protective effect of air humidifiers on DEHP exposure was demonstrated.

Stability of an ophthalmic micellar formulation of cyclosporine A in unopened multidose eyedroppers and in simulated use conditions
Philip Chennell,L. Delaborde,Mathieu Wasiak,Mireille Jouannet,E. Feschet-Chassot,F. Chiambaretta,Valérie Sautou +6 more
TL;DR: The results show that the cyclosporine micellar formulation retains good physicochemical and microbiological stability, as all parameters stayed within acceptable range limits, however a higher variability in cyclospora concentrations was observed for 20 mg/mL units stored at 25 °C.

Stability of an ophthalmic formulation of polyhexamethylene biguanide in gamma-sterilized and ethylene oxide sterilized low density polyethylene multidose eyedroppers
TL;DR: Although no significant variation of osmolality was found and sterility was maintained during 90 days of monitoring, the appearance of BPs and their unknown toxicities let us believe that 0.2 mg/mL PHMB solution should be conserved for no longer than 60 days in EOS-LDPE bottles at 25 °C.

Physicochemical Stability of a Novel Tacrolimus Ophthalmic Formulation for the Treatment of Ophthalmic Inflammatory Diseases
Marion Barrieu,Philip Chennell,Mouloud Yessaad,Yassine Bouattour,Mathieu Wasiak,Mireille Jouannet,Yoann Le Basle,Valérie Sautou +7 more
TL;DR: The objective of this study was to evaluate the physicochemical stability of a preservative-free tacrolimus formulation at three storage temperatures (5 °C, 25 °C and 35 °C) for up to nine months in a multidose eyedropper.

Do Ophthalmic Solutions of Amphotericin B Solubilised in 2-Hydroxypropyl-γ-Cyclodextrins Possess an Extended Physicochemical Stability?
Philip Chennell,Mouloud Yessaad,Florence Abd El Kader,Mireille Jouannet,Mathieu Wasiak,Yassine Bouattour,Valérie Sautou +6 more
TL;DR: Investigation of the stability of a formulation of ready-to-use amphotericin B solubilised in 2-hydroxypropyl-γ-cyclodextrins (AB-HP- γ-CD), for 350 days concluded that this formulation does not provide long-term stability for ophthalmic amphoteric in B solutions.
