Rapid and highly sensitive method for determination of methamphetamine and amphetamine in urine by electron-capture gas chromatography
TL;DR: A rapid and sensitive method for determination of methamphetamine and amphetamine in urine was developed by using electron-capture gas chromatography and the pentafluorobenzoyl derivative showed a higher electron- capture sensitivity and was detected in at least 23-fold lower concentration than the heptaflu orobutyryl derivative which is commonly used as a derivatizing agent for the amine.

Determination of methamphetamine and its metabolites in rat tissues by gas chromatography with a nitrogen-phosphorus detector.
TL;DR: A method for the determination of methamphetamine and its metabolites in tissues of the rat receiving methamphetamine was developed using gas chromatography with nitrogen-phosphorus detection, and recoveries from the rat brain, liver and serum were 94-106, 103-115 and 94-96%, respectively.
