PREFUL MRI for Monitoring Perfusion and Ventilation Changes after Elexacaftor-Tezacaftor-Ivacaftor Therapy for Cystic Fibrosis: A Feasibility Study.
Martha Dohna,Andreas Voskrebenzev,Filip Klimeš,Till F Kaireit,Julian Glandorf,S. Pallenberg,Felix C. Ringshausen,Gesine Hansen,D. M. Renz,Frank Wacker,Anna-Maria Dittrich,Jens Vogel-Claussen +11 more
- 01 Apr 2024
TL;DR: The study demonstrates the feasibility of PREFUL MRI for semiautomated quantitative assessment of perfusion and ventilation changes in response to ETI therapy in people with cystic fibrosis.

Effect of CFTR modulator therapy with elexacaftor/tezacaftor/ivacaftor on pulmonary ventilation derived by 3D phase-resolved functional lung MRI in cystic fibrosis patients
Filip Klimeš,Andreas Voskrebenzev,Marcel Gutberlet,M. Speth,Robert Grimm,Martha Dohna,Gesine Hansen,Frank Wacker,D. Renz,Anna M. Dittrich,Jens Vogel-Claussen +10 more
TL;DR: 3D PREFUL MRI–derived ventilation maps show significantly reduced ventilation defects in CF patients after ETI therapy, suggesting that 3D PREFUL MRI is sensitive to measure improved regional ventilation of the lung parenchyma due to reduced inflammation induced by ETI therapy in CF patients.

Current and future funding streams for paediatric postmortem imaging: European Society of Paediatric Radiology survey results
G. K. Chambers,Susan C. Shelmerdine,Michael Aertsen,Martha Dohna,Stacy Goergen,Karl Johnson,Willemijn M. Klein,Elka Miller,Gerald Pärtan,David Perry,Padma Rao,Claire Robinson,Joachim Stegmann,Ajay Taranath,Elspeth H. Whitby,Rick R. van Rijn,Owen J. Arthurs +16 more
TL;DR: The European Society of Paediatric Radiology (ESPR) and ESPR postmortem imaging task force conducted a web-based 16-question survey to members of the ESCAPE task force over a 6-month period (March-August 2021) as discussed by the authors .
Juvenile idiopathic arthritis of the knee: is contrast needed to score disease activity when using an augmented MRI protocol comprising PD-weighted sequences?
Van Dai Vo Chieu,Frank Dressler,N. Kornemann,Alexander Pfeil,Joachim Böttcher,Florian Streitparth,Lars D. Berthold,Martha Dohna,D. Renz,Susanne Hellms +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors compared unenhanced versus enhanced knee joint magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to assess disease activity of juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) in 27 patients.
First experiences using transurethral ultrasound ablation (TULSA) as a promising focal approach to treat localized prostate cancer: a monocentric study
Inga Peters,Bennet Hensen,Julian Glandorf,Marcel Gutberlet,Martha Dohna,Steffen Struckmann,Markus A. Kuczyk,Frank Wacker,Susanne Hellms +8 more
TL;DR: Establishment of TULSA in clinical routine was unproblematic, short-term outcome seems to be encouraging, and the risk of erectile function impairment requires elaborate information of the patient.
