One-step synthesis and XPS investigations of chiral NHC–Au(0)/Au( i ) nanoparticles
Adam J. Young,Markus Sauer,Guilherme M. D. M. Rúbio,Akiko Sato,Annette Foelske,Christopher J. Serpell,Jia Min Chin,Jia Min Chin,Michael R. Reithofer +8 more
TL;DR: A simple and fast one-step synthesis of uniform chiral (l/d)-histidin-2-ylidene stabilised gold nanoparticles using the organometallic Au(i) complex as a well defined starting material is reported, highlighting the importance of synthetic method choice for NHC-stabilized AuNPs.
Doping of single-walled carbon nanotubes controlled via chemical transformation of encapsulated nickelocene.
Marianna V. Kharlamova,Markus Sauer,Takeshi Saito,Yuta Sato,Kazu Suenaga,Thomas Pichler,Hidetsugu Shiozawa +6 more
TL;DR: This work reports an approach to tune the polarity and degree of doping of single-walled carbon nanotubes via filling with nickelocene followed by encapsulated reactions, and shows that nickelocene molecules transform into nickel carbides, nickel and inner carbon Nanotubes with reaction temperatures as low as 250 °C.
Solar wind sputtering of wollastonite as a lunar analogue material – Comparisons between experiments and simulations
Paul Stefan Szabo,Rimpei Chiba,Herbert Biber,R. Stadlmayr,B. M. Berger,D. Mayer,Andreas Mutzke,Michael Doppler,Markus Sauer,Julia Appenroth,Jürgen Fleig,Annette Foelske-Schmitz,Herbert Hutter,Klaus Mezger,Helmut Lammer,André Galli,Peter Wurz,Friedrich Aumayr +17 more
TL;DR: In this article, the sputtering of wollastonite by solar wind-relevant ions has been investigated experimentally and the results are compared to the binary collision approximation (BCA) codes SDTrimSP and SRIM-2013.

Doping of single-walled carbon nanotubes controlled via chemical transformation of encapsulated nickelocene
Marianna V. Kharlamova,Markus Sauer,Takeshi Saito,Yuta Sato,Kazu Suenaga,Thomas Pichler,Hidetsugu Shiozawa +6 more
- 01 Jan 2015
TL;DR: In this paper, the polarity and degree of doping of single-walled carbon nanotubes via filling with nickelocene followed by encapsulated reactions is reported. But the results are limited to the case of carbon nanometers.

Dynamic Potential Sputtering of Lunar Analog Material by Solar Wind Ions
Paul Stefan Szabo,Herbert Biber,Noah Jäggi,Matthias Brenner,David Weichselbaum,Anna Niggas,R. Stadlmayr,Daniel Primetzhofer,Andreas Nenning,Andreas Mutzke,Markus Sauer,Jürgen Fleig,Annette Foelske-Schmitz,Klaus Mezger,Helmut Lammer,André Galli,Peter Wurz,Friedrich Aumayr +17 more
TL;DR: In this article, the most abundant pyroxenes (Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Si2O6) have been sputtering by solar wind ions in the surface of rocky planets and moons.
