Long life polypeptide binding molecules
Kufer Peter,Raum Tobias,Lutterbuese Ralf,Patrick Hoffmann,Markus Muenz,Brozy Johannes,Majk Kvesic +6 more
- 01 Mar 2013
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a binding molecule comprising at least three domains comprised in at least one polypeptide chain, wherein the first binding domain is a binding domain which is capable of binding to a cell surface molecule on a target cell, the second binding domain was a bindingdomain which was capable of bounding to the T cell CD3 receptor complex, and the third domain was able to binding to serum albumin, wherein said third domain is positioned at the C-terminus of said second domain.

Abstract 55: Generation of half-life extended anti-CD33 BiTE® antibody constructs compatible with once-weekly dosing
Tara Arvedson,Mercedesz Balazs,Pamela Bogner,Kurt Black,Kevin Graham,Anja Henn,Matthias Friedrich,Patrick Hoffmann,Roman Kischel,Peter Kufer,Ralf Lutterbuese,Markus Muenz,Tobias Raum,Benno Rattel,Karen Rex,Dan A. Rock,Oliver Thomas,Joachim Wahl,Andreas Wolf,Angela Coxon +19 more
TL;DR: Half-life extended BiTE® antibody constructs can be generated that retain comparable in vitro and in vivo activity as a canonical BiTE®, and achieve a serum half-life compatible with once weekly dosing.

Preclinical Assessment of AMG 596, a Bispecific T-cell Engager (BiTE) Immunotherapy Targeting the Tumor-specific Antigen EGFRvIII.
Alexander Sternjak,Fei Lee,Oliver Thomas,Mercedesz Balazs,Joachim Wahl,Grit Lorenczewski,Ines Ullrich,Markus Muenz,Benno Rattel,Julie M. Bailis,Matthias Friedrich +10 more
TL;DR: Data show a compelling preclinical efficacy and safety profile of AMG 596, supporting its development as a novel immunotherapy for treatment of GBM.

- 02 Feb 2017
TL;DR: In this paper, bispecific antibody constructs of a specific Fc modality characterized by comprising a first domain binding to a target cell surface antigen, a second domain bounding to an extracellular epitope of the human and/or the Macaca CD3e chain and a third domain which is the specific FC modality.

Bispecific T cell engaging antibody constructs targeting a universally conserved part of the viral M2 ectodomain cure and prevent influenza A virus infection.
Jochen Pendzialek,Kenny Roose,Anouk Smet,Bert Schepens,Peter Kufer,Tobias Raum,Patrick A. Baeuerle,Markus Muenz,Xavier Saelens,Walter Fiers +9 more
TL;DR: Humanized FLU BiTE® antibody constructs display increased affinity for M2e, resulting in stronger protective effects, and show strong cytotoxic activity to M2‐expressing cells in vitro.
