Multiple scattering in grazing-incidence X-ray diffraction: impact on lattice-constant determination in thin films
Roland Resel,Markus Bainschab,Alexander Pichler,Theo J. Dingemans,Clemens Simbrunner,Clemens Simbrunner,Julian Stangl,Ingo Salzmann +7 more
TL;DR: The use of grazing-incidence X-ray diffraction to determine the crystal structure from thin films requires accurate positions of Bragg peaks to correct refraction effects and multiple scattering events.
Perspectives for regulating 10 nm particle number emissions based on novel measurement methodologies

TL;DR: In this article , the results of three EU-funded projects (DownToTen, PEMs4Nano and SUREAL-23) supported the understanding, measurement and regulation of particle emissions below 23 nm and have successfully developed sub-23 nm particle measurement devices.

Disentangling Multichannel Photodissociation Dynamics in Acetone by Time-Resolved Photoelectron–Photoion Coincidence Spectroscopy
TL;DR: Time-resolved photoelectron-photoion coincidence (PEPICO) experiments to investigate the excited-state dynamics of isolated acetone molecules triggered by two-photon (269 nm) excitation unambiguously identify three distinct pump-probe ionization channels.

Measuring angle-resolved dynamic deformation of micromirrors with digital stroboscopic holography
Pooja Thakkar,Clement Fleury,Markus Bainschab,Takashi Sasaki,Markus Zauner,D. Holzmann,Adrien Piot,Jaka Pribosek +7 more
- 20 May 2022
TL;DR: In this article , a point-by-point Fourier expansion method of the deformation cycle was employed and mechanical harmonics were extracted from the first harmonic to study the dynamic deformation of two orthogonal modes of a MEMS mirror with a gimbal frame suspension.
