Reduction of the flow forces in a small hydraulic seat valve as alternative approach to improve the valve characteristics
Marko Simic,Niko Herakovic +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the optimization of the spool and housing geometry of a small hydraulic seat valve to enable the reduction of axial flow forces to a minimum value is described, which is usually the main cause for many problems related to response time, actuation force and energy consumption.

A Five-Step Approach to Planning Data-Driven Digital Twins for Discrete Manufacturing Systems
TL;DR: A five-step approach to planning data-driven digital twins of manufacturing systems and their processes is proposed and the suitability of the approach for the industrial environment is illustrated using the case study of planning the digital twin for material logistics of the manufacturing system.

Modelling of Hydraulic Spool-Valves with Special Designed Metering Edges
TL;DR: In this article, a new approach of modelling and simulation of hydraulic spool valves by using already known simple mathematical expressions for describing the sliding spool geometry is presented, which can be implemented as micro components into any hydraulic simulation tool's library.
