TL;DR: In this article , pharmacological inhibition of both cystine uptake and transsulfuration combined with GPX4 inactivation resulted in tumor remission in an orthotopic MYCN-amplified neuroblastoma model.
BMP2 Transfer to Neighboring Cells and Activation of Signaling.
TL;DR: It is shown that internalized BMP2 can be transferred to neighboring cells and, moreover, also activates downstream BMP signaling in adjacent cells, indicated by Smad1/5/8 phosphorylation and activation of the downstream target gene id1.

TL;DR: This paper showed that MYC induces massive lipid peroxidation upon depletion of cysteine, the rate-limiting amino acid for glutathione biosynthesis and sensitizes cells to ferroptosis, an oxidative, non-apoptotic and irondependent type of cell death.
