Expanding on the fundamental metallicity relation in dwarf galaxies with MUSE
Teodora-Elena Bulichi,Katja Fahrion,F. Mernier,Michael Hilker,Ryan Leaman,Mariya Lyubenova,Oliver Muller,Nadine Neumayer,Ignacio Martín-Navarro,F. Pinna,Marina Rejkuba,Laura Scholz-Díaz,Glenn van de Ven +12 more

TL;DR: This study investigates the fundamental metallicity relation in nine nearby dwarf galaxies using MUSE data, finding that the relation exhibits different behaviors within star-forming regions and proposing that accretion mechanisms drive metallicity variations.

The velocity dispersion and mass-to-light ratio of the remote halo globular cluster NGC 2419
Holger Baumgardt,Patrick Côté,M. Hilker,Marina Rejkuba,Steffen Mieske,S. G. Djorgovski,Peter B. Stetson +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the radial velocity measurements from HIRES on the Keck I telescope are presented for 40 stars in the outer halo globular cluster NGC 2419, which are used to probe the cluster's stellar mass function and search for the presence of dark matter in this cluster.

DOME: operational metrics under one roof
TL;DR: DOME (Dashboard for Operational Metrics at ESO) is an ongoing project developed, implemented and maintained by the ESO User Support Department that aims at providing an ESO-internal dashboard where key operational metrics are published and updated at regular intervals.
A too-many-dwarf-galaxy-satellites problem in the M\,83 group

TL;DR: M\,83 group has too-many-dwarf-galaxy satellites problem in Lambda cold dark matter model. Both simulations and theoretical predictions underestimate the number of confirmed satellites at the faint end.
