Estudo descritivo, qualitativo, com objetivo de identificar e analisar, sob a otica de pacientes submetidos a cirurgia cardiaca, as orientacoesrealizadas pelo enfermeiro no pre-operatorio e se estas contribuem para minimizar o estresse e demais sentimentos vivenciados por eles noperioperatorio. Avaliaram-se 11 individuos em pos-operatorio de cirurgia cardiaca internados em clinica cardiologica de hospital porte IV do RioGrande do Sul. Os dados foram coletados de maio a junho de 2013, por meio de formulario de dados clinico-sociodemograficos e entrevistasemiestruturada. Observaram-se aspectos de pesquisa com pessoas, projeto aprovado por comite de etica, parecer no 247.142. Da analise dosresultados, conforme preceitos da analise de conteudo, emergiram duas categorias analiticas e seis subcategorias, que versam sobre orientacoesdo enfermeiro no pre-operatorio e relevância destas na percepcao dos pesquisados. Concluiu-se que o enfermeiro contribui para a minimizacaodo estresse e demais sentimentos vivenciados pelos pacientes no perioperatorio.(AU) This is a descriptive and qualitative study that aims to identify and analyze the feedback from patients in the perioperative period of cardiacsurgery on the guidance provided by the nursing team and if such information contributes to minimize their stress. Eleven patients hospitalized inthe cardiology clinic of a large hospital in the state of Rio Grande do Sul participated in the research. Data were collected from May to June 2013through clinical and socio demographic forms, as well as semi-structured interviews. Once the participants´ characteristics were ascertained, theproject was approved by the ethics committee under protocol No. 247.142. The analysis of the results revealed two categories and six subcategories.The authors concluded that nurses contribute to minimize stress levels in patients during the perioperative period.(AU) Estudio cualitativo descriptivo realizado con el objeto de identificar y analizar, desde la perspectiva de los pacientes de cirugia cardiaca, las instruccionesdadas por los enfermeros en el preoperatorio y si estas contribuyen a minimizar el estres y otros sentimientos en el periodo perioperatorio. Fueronevaluados 11 pacientes en el postoperatorio de cirugia cardiaca internados en la clinica cardiologica de un hospital clasificado como de tamanoIV del Estado de Rio Grande do Sul. Los datos fueron recogidos entre mayo y junio de 2013 en un formulario de datos clinicos - sociodemograficosy en una entrevista semiestructurada. Se respetaron las normas de investigacion con personas y el proyecto fue aprobado por el comite de eticabajo el N o 247.142. Los resultados del analisis de contenido permitieron identificar dos categorias analiticas y seis subcategorias, que se refieren a lasinstrucciones de los enfermeros en el preoperatorio y a su importancia para los pacientes entrevistados. Llegamos a la conclusion que los enfermeroscontribuyen a minimizar el estres, entre otros sentimientos, de los pacientes en el periodo perioperatorio.(AU)

Considerações de pacientes no perioperatório de cirurgia cardíaca referentes às orientações recebidas do enfermeiro

Objetivo: analisar se um programa educativo de enfermagem favorece o conhecimento e orienta as condutas adotadas pelos clientes no pos-operatorio de cirurgia cardiaca Metodo: estudo de intervencao realizado com 51 pacientes A coleta de dados foi realizada atraves da aplicacao de um formulario estruturado Analise estatistica:  foram usados os testes qui-quadrado, exato de Fisher, Mann-Whitney ou coeficiente de correlacao de Spearman, quando apropriados Resultados: o programa educativo foi considerado importante para garantir tranquilidade, adesao ao tratamento e auxilio na recuperacao Entretanto, os clientes apresentaram compreensao limitada quanto a alguns procedimentos comuns do pos-operatorio As respostas inadequadas foram relacionadas a baixa escolaridade (p < 0,05) Houve correlacao moderada e negativa (ρ = -0,314; p < 0,05) entre a coerencia das respostas e o tempo entre a orientacao e a cirurgia Conclusao: o programa educativo favoreceu o conhecimento e orientou as condutas adotadas pelos clientes na fase pos-operatoria Descritores: Cirurgia cardiaca Enfermagem perioperatoria Assistencia de Enfermagem Educacao em saude

Intervenção educativa de enfermagem ao cliente submetido à cirurgia cardíaca

Introduction: Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery ( CABG ) is one of the main options for treating coronary artery disease . Objective: To describe the nursing care in the immediate postoperative period in CABG surgery in the ICU. Method: This is an integrative review , which seeks to gather and synthesize the information gathered for analysis of the data was performed a reading in full the findings and discussed later , preserving the ethical and legal principles of each study. Results: Nursing care should be developed with quality and competence by nurses and all his team, comprising all the POI period in ICU within 24 hours , it is of utmost importance to prevent possible complications. Conclusion: The nurse has the key role in the admission of that patient in the ICU , assessing and caring in comprising the SVR postoperative ICU .

Nurses' Role In Post-Operative Immediately Myocardial Revascularization In Intensive Care Unit

The objective was to evaluate the practice of self-care of patients with mechanical heart valve prosthesis. A descriptive, cross-sectional study developed in two outpatient valvopathies of teaching hospitals of Fortaleza/CE, from October 2013 to January 2014. The sample consisted of 127 patients with mechanical heart valve prosthesis. It was held an interview using instrument based on the Theory of Orem’s Self-Care and Brazilian Guidelines for Valvular Heart Diseases. The data were presented in tables and charts. Results: Universal self-care practices of larger adhesion: body hygiene (97.6% washed-haired, daily-bath 92.1%); oral hygiene (brushing teeth before sleeping, 87.4%); fluid intake (drinking-water 95.2%); food intake (salt intake ≤ 2 g/day, 92.1%, fruit and vegetable consumption 79.5%); intestinal eliminations (without blood or mucus—96%, non-parasitic 94.4%); urinary elimination (no blood nor pus-96.8%, urination 4 to 6 times a day, 96%). As self-care developmental requirements predominated: never used illegal drugs, tobacco, alcohol, or stopped at the discovery of the disease (70%). As self-care health deviation requirements we have: making use of certain medication at the right dose (95.2%); attending medical appointments (cardiologist—92.1%; nursing—84.2%); INR control (identifies signs of bleeding— 85.8%). We conclude that patients did not perform all recommended self-care practices, being necessary to establish strategies to reduce the self-care deficit.

Resumo: Analise do processo de autocuidado desenvolvido por pacientes apos uma cirurgia cardiaca. Foi realizado no Hospital Universitario de Sao Luis-MA. Utilizou-se o instrumento de coleta de dados validado por Hermida (2005). Nos fatores pessoais e condicionantes basicos observou-se a predominância de mulheres e o diagnostico medico de disfuncao da valvula mitral. Nos requisitos de autocuidado nos desvios de saude a hipertensao foi o antecedente pessoal mais frequente e o familiar foi a cardiopatia. A principal queixa foi a dor em toracotomia (60%). Nos requisitos de autocuidado universais, destacou-se a dificuldade para iniciar o sono por posicao desconfortavel. A maioria relatou a realizacao da higiene sem ajuda e a inatividade fisica (70%). As principais duvidas relacionaram-se a ameaca a abertura de pontos como o ato de tossir e o esforco fisico. A confeccao de um manual de orientacoes foi a contribuicao para a equipe. KNOWLEDGE OF PATIENTS ON THE PROCESS OF SELF-CARE IN POST-CARDIAC SURGERY Abstract: This study is based on the need to know the process of self care developed by patients after a heart surgery. It was held at the University Hospital of Sao Luis-MA. The data collection instrument validated by Hermida (2005) was used. On personal factors and basic constraints the predominance of women and the medical diagnosis of mitral valve dysfunction was observed. On the requirements of self-care in health deviations hypertension was the more frequent personal antecedent and the familiar was heart disease. The main complaint was the pain in Thoracotomy (60%). On the requirements of universal self-care the difficulty to start sleeping because of uncomfortable position was notable. Most reported implementation of hygiene without help and physical inactivity (70%). The main questions were related to the threat of the opening points as the act of coughing and physical effort. CONOCIMIENTO DE LOS PACIENTES SOBRE EL PROCESO DE AUTO-CUIDADO EN POST-CIRUGIA CARDIACA Resumen: Se analiza el proceso de auto-cuidado desarrollado por los pacientes despues de una cirugia de corazon. Se llevo a cabo en el Hospital Universitario de Sao Luis-MA. Se utilizo el instrumento de recopilacion de datos validado por Hermida (2005). Em los fatores personal y de restricciones basicas se observaron el predominio de las mujeres y el diagnostico medico de disfuncion de la valvula mitral. Sobre los requisitos de autocuidado en las desviaciones de la salud la hipertension fue la informacion personal mas frecuentes y la informacion familiar fueron las cardiopatias. La queja principal fue el dolor en toracotomia (60%). En los requisitos de auto-atencion universales la dificultad para comenzar a dormir en posicion incomoda. La mayoria informo aplicacion de higiene sin ayuda y la inactividad fisica (70%). Las principales dudas estuvieran relacionadas con El miedo de que los puntos se abrieran com el esfuerzo fisico al toser. Un manual de directrices fue la contribucion al equipo.
