TL;DR: Night sleep symptoms and their relationship to a number of psychic, somatic and social variables were investigated and waking up frequently in the night showed a correlation pattern with psychic, social and somatic variables different from the other sleep symptoms, suggesting a different cause.

TL;DR: Investigation of night sleep symptoms and their relation with a number of psychic, social and somatic variables showed that age in the over 75 elderly is not a risk factor for a poor night sleep quality and education can modify the elderly's expectations about their own sleep quality.
