Filling the Green Gap of a Megadalton Photosystem I Complex by Conjugation of Organic Dyes
Pavlo Gordiichuk,Dolev Rimmerman,Avishek Paul,Daniel A Gautier,Agnieszka Gruszka,Manfred J. Saller,Jan Willem de Vries,Gert-Jan A. H. Wetzelaer,Marianna Manca,Widianta Gomulya,Maayan Matmor,Ekaterina Gloukhikh,Mark Loznik,Nurit Ashkenasy,Paul W. M. Blom,Matthias Rögner,Maria Antonietta Loi,Shachar Richter,Andreas Herrmann +18 more
TL;DR: Inspired by the existence of natural phycobilisome light-harvesting antennae, this work has widened the absorption spectrum of PSI by covalent attachment of synthetic dyes to the protein backbone by showing by oxygen-consumption measurements that subsequent charge generation is substantially enhanced under broad and narrow band excitation.

PbSe Nanorod Field‐Effect Transistors: Room‐ and Low‐Temperature Performance
Lu Han,Lu Han,Daniel M. Balazs,Artem G. Shulga,Mustapha Abdu-Aguye,Wanli Ma,Maria Antonietta Loi +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a field effect transistor based on PbSe nanorods with an inorganic iodide-based ligand is presented for the first time, and the transistors at room temperature display ambipolar characteristics with electron mobility of approximate to 0.1 cm(2) V-1 s(-1) and hole mobility of 1.1 x 10(-4) cm(1 s−1) in the ultraclean environment.

Scalable fabrication of efficient p-n junction lead sulfide quantum dot solar cells
Vincent M. Goossens,Nataliia Sukharevska,Dmitry N. Dirin,Dmitry N. Dirin,Maksym V. Kovalenko,Maksym V. Kovalenko,Maria Antonietta Loi +6 more
- 16 Nov 2021
TL;DR: In this article, a scalable fabrication strategy for efficient PbS QD solar cells with p-n structure was proposed, where an industrially suited blade-coating technique was used to deposit both n-type and p-type QD layers.
