TL;DR: It is concluded that SKT administration significantly ameliorated this decrease in systolic blood pressure in spontaneously hypertensive rats, and the mechanism of SKT in reducing urinary albumin excretion is mediated, at least partly, by prevention of the loss of ClC-5 in the renal cortex of SHRs.

TL;DR: The effectiveness of the traditional Japanese medicines keishibukuryogan, tokishakuyakusan (TSS), and ogikenchuto (OKT) in treating systemic scleroderma is examined.
