Skeletonized mean diffusivity and neuropsychological performance in relapsing‐remitting multiple sclerosis
Magdalena Chylińska,Bartosz Karaszewski,Jakub Komendziński,Adam Wyszomirski,Agnieszka Sabisz,Marek Halas,Edyta Szurowska +6 more
TL;DR: PSMD was investigated as a new parameter of WM microstructure damage that is a contributor in complex cognitive tasks, CVLT performance, and semantic fluency and Education attainment proved to be relevant in the majority of cognitive domains.

The association between white matter tract structural connectivity and information processing speed in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis.
Magdalena Chylińska,Bartosz Karaszewski,Jakub Komendziński,Adam Wyszomirski,Marek Halas,Edyta Szurowska,Agnieszka Sabisz +6 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the associations between MRI-derived metrics of neuroanatomical structures, including the tracts, and information processing speed (IPS) deterioration in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) patients.
Optically induced birefringence in a series of analogous diols
Zdzislaw Blaszczak,Iwona Iwaszkiewicz-Kostka,Ewa Andrzejewska,Marek Halas,Maciej Andrzejewski +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of analogous diols containing heteroatoms, such as O, N or S, were analyzed at temperatures from 280 to 350 K. The values of the absolute and molar Kerr constants were calculated.

Optical Kerr effect study in viscous media. The series of homologous polyoxyethylenediols
Zdzislaw Blaszczak,Ewa Andrzejewska,Marek Halas,W. Shirbeeny,Iwona Iwaszkiewicz-Kostka,Maciej Andrzejewski +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the optically induced birefringence in homologous polyoxyethylenediols has been investigated and the majority of the monomers studied have been found to show an untypical increase in the Kerr constant with increasing temperature.

Lidar study of the dynamics of aerosol-type pollution in the lower troposphere over urban area
Zdzislaw Blaszczak,Marek Halas,Jozef Grabowski,Alexandros Papayannis +3 more
- 06 Oct 2003
TL;DR: In this article, the seasonal dynamics of vertical changes in the backscattering coefficient, extinction coefficient and lidar ratio for lower troposphere has been determined, and the results of a study of aerosol pollution distribution and dynamics measured by lidar observations over the city of Athens are presented.
