Desenvolvimento de um método de Elisa para a detecção de rotavírus a partir de material fecal
Fábio Gregori,Paulo Eduardo Brandão,C. A. R. Rosales,Adriana Cortez,Marcos Bryan Heinemann,Leonardo José Richtzenhain,José Antonio Jerez +6 more
- 01 Feb 2000
TL;DR: There was developed a polyclonal “double-sandwich” antibody ELISA method for detection of rotavirus from stool specimens that showed that this ELISA is a sensitive and specific alternative test for rotav virus diagnosis from fecal material.

Detection and molecular characterization of human group C rotavirus in Brazil.
Irene Trigueiros Araújo,Marcos Bryan Heinemann,Alexandre Madi Fialho,José Paulo Gagliardi Leite +3 more
TL;DR: Analysis of the NSP4 gene from Brazilian strains revealed that the isolates are more closely related to each other than to those of other strains previously published, confirming the transmission of RV-C in Brazil.
Emergence of livestock-associated Mammaliicoccus sciuri ST71 co-harbouring mecA and mecC genes in Brazil.
Enéas de Carvalho,Eduardo Milton Ramos Sanchez,Fábio P. Sellera,Michele Flávia Sousa Marques,Marcos Bryan Heinemann,S. De Vliegher,F. Souza,Rinaldo Aparecido Mota +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the first double mecA/mecC homologue-positive non-aureus staphylococci and mammaliicocci (NASM) from the American continent was reported, also representing the first report of mecC-positive NASM in Brazil.

Antimicrobial Resistance and Molecular Characterization of Staphylococcus aureus Recovered from Cows with Clinical Mastitis in Dairy Herds from Southeastern Brazil
Gustavo Freu,Tiago Tomazi,Antonio Francisco Peripato Filho,Marcos Bryan Heinemann,Marcos Veiga dos Santos +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors genotypically characterized Staph. aureus isolates recovered from cows with clinical mastitis and determined the association of genotypes and AMS.
Respiratory signs, fever and lymphopenia in calves inoculated with Brazilian HoBi-like pestiviruses.
José C. Jardim,Bruna Portolan Amaral,Mathias Martins,P. Sebastian,Marcos Bryan Heinemann,Adriana Cortez,Rudi Weiblen,Eduardo Furtado Flores +7 more
TL;DR: The results extend previous findings that experimental infections of calves with HobiPeV are predominantly mild, yet they also indicate that field isolates may differ in their ability to cause disease in susceptible animals.
