Optical properties of biological tissues
Giovanni Zaccanti,Adriana Taddeucci,Marco Barilli,Piero Bruscaglioni,Fabrizio Martelli +4 more
- 30 May 1995
TL;DR: In this article, the absorption and reduced scattering coefficients of living tissues were obtained from measurements of time-resolved reflectance at near-IR wavelengths, and the inversion procedure was based on the temporal spread function for a semi-infinite medium given by the diffusion approximation.

Near-infrared time-resolved spectroscopy and fast scanning spectrophotometry in ischemic human forearm
Marco Ferrari,Roberto Alberto De Blasi,Piero Bruscaglioni,Marco Barilli,L. Carraresi,Massimo Gurioli,Enrico Quaglia,Giovanni Zaccanti +7 more
- 01 May 1991
TL;DR: In this article, human forearm oxygenation and scattering changes during ischemia were investigated using near infrared laser spectroscopy, and the influence of both the scattering and absorption effects was studied.

MAJIS/JUICE optical head: characterization campaign and derived performance test results
A. Barbis,Marco Barilli,A. Bini,M. Dami,Enrico Fossati,G.J. Pilato,L. Tommasi,Gianrico Filacchione,S. De Angelis,Giuseppe Piccioni,S. Stefani,Federico Tosi,C. Dumesnil,Paolo Haffoud,Y. Langevin,Marilena Amoroso,Raffaele Mugnuolo,Francois Poulet +17 more
- 27 Aug 2022
TL;DR: The MAJIS Optical Head (OH) as mentioned in this paper consists in a TMA telescope shared between the two channels, as well as a slit and collimator, then a dichroic filter that splits the light between the channels, each one being equipped with its own grating and focusing lens.

The Integral-Field Imager and Spectrometer for planetary exploration (ƒISPEx)
Gianrico Filacchione,Marco Tarabini,Elena Mazzotta Epifani,Mauro Ciarniello,Giuseppe Piccioni,Alessandra Raponi,Bortolino Saggin,Z. Kaňuchová,Pasquale Palumbo,I. Guerri,A. Taiti,Iacopo Ficai-Veltroni,Marco Barilli,Stefano Pelli,Franco Cosi,A. Galiano,M. Zambelli,D. Biondi,A. Boccaccini,F. Nuccilli,M. Giusti +20 more
- 29 Aug 2022
TL;DR: In this article , a three-mirror Afocal telescope is used for planetary exploration, which integrates a color camera and an Integral Field Spectrometer (ISPEx).

Photon migration in a cylindrical phantom: numerical and experimental studies
TL;DR: By using both picosecond time-resolved spectroscopy and Monte Carlo simulations, the influence of inhomogeneities inside the phantom on impulse response of short incident light was studied considering a black body located at various positions inside the scattering medium as discussed by the authors.
