The effects of jasmonic acid and methyl jasmonate on rosmarinic acid production in Mentha × piperita cell suspension cultures
Justyna Krzyzanowska,Anna Czubacka,Lukasz Pecio,Marcin Przybys,Teresa Doroszewska,Anna Stochmal,Wieslaw Oleszek +6 more
TL;DR: It was documented that suspension cultures of M. piperita treated with elicitors showed a decrease in biomass accumulation when compared to the control, and there was no substantial influence of elicitors on rosmarinic acid secretion into the culture media.

Determination of polyphenols in Mentha longifolia and M. piperita field-grown and in vitro plant samples using UPLC-TQ-MS.
Justyna Krzyzanowska,Bogdan Janda,Lukasz Pecio,Anna Stochmal,Wieslaw Oleszek,Anna Czubacka,Marcin Przybys,Teresa Doroszewska +7 more
TL;DR: Nine polyphenols in the aerial parts of Mentha longifolia have been separated by chromatographic techniques and show that under in vitro conditions, the metabolism of phenolics undergoes a fundamental change.
Biodiversity and Metabolic Potential of Bacteria in Bulk Soil from the Peri-Root Zone of Black Alder (Alnus glutinosa), Silver Birch (Betula pendula) and Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris)
Anna Gałązka,Anna Marzec-Grządziel,Milan Varsadiya,Jacek Niedźwiecki,Karolina Gawryjołek,Karolina Furtak,Marcin Przybys,Jarosław Grządziel +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the structural and functional biodiversity of soil microorganisms inhabiting the bulk soil from the peri-root zone of three tree species: Alnus glutinosa, Betula pendula, and Pinus sylvestris were determined.
Detection and molecular analysis of Hop latent virus and Hop latent viroid in hop samples from Poland
Angelika Ziegler,Magdalena Kawka,Marcin Przybys,Teresa Doroszewska,Urszula Skomra,Ute Kastirr,Jaroslav Matoušek,Jörg Schubert +7 more
- 01 Jul 2014
TL;DR: In vitro plants, samples from the IUNG-PIB experimental station and commercial hop gardens in Poland were tested for Hop latent virus (HpLV, and Hop latent and Hop stunt viroids), and cloning and sequencing revealed that the HpLV and thehpLVd from Polish sources are very similar to the typesequences and the Czech sources.

Point mutations in the viral genome-linked protein (VPg) of Potato virus Y probably correspond with ability to overcome resistance of tobacco
TL;DR: Amino acids sequence analysis of VPg of fifteen PVY isolates revealed that amino acid residing at positions 101 and 105 was decisive in determining the ability to break the resistance of tobacco cultivars.
