Semiempirical Model for Satellite Energy-Accommodation Coefficients
TL;DR: In this article, the authors combine the theory that gas-surface interactions in low Earth orbit are driven by adaption of atomic oxygen, with observations of satellite accommodation collected during solar cycle 22.

Semi-Empirical Satellite Accommodation Model for Spherical and Randomly Tumbling Objects
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used U.S. Air Force Space Command observations of launch-vehicle upper stages and spheres and converted them to fitted ballistic coefficients by comparing the observed orbit with an orbit predicted by an atmospheric-drag model, containing signals that result from atmospheric variability not captured by the model as well as signals that correspond to changes in the satellite drags.

TL;DR: The Dynamic Ionosphere CubeSat Experiment (DICE) as mentioned in this paper uses two identical sensor-sats at slightly different orbiting velocities in nearly identical orbits to de-convolution of spatial and temporal ambiguities in the observations of the ionosphere.
The Mars Topside Ionosphere Response to the X8.2 Solar Flare of 10 September 2017

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a model for the first-person view of the Earth from the perspective of the International Space Station (ESCESSTII) at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Maryland, USA.
