Growth of Galactic Bulges by Mergers: I. Dense Satellites
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used collisionless N body simulations to test the assumption that initially the surface brightness profiles of all bulges were exponential, and that the steepening of the profiles toward the early-types is due to satellite accretion.
Galactic Bulges from HST NICMOS Observations: central galaxian objects, and nuclear profile slopes
TL;DR: This paper measured the central structural properties for a sample of S0-Sbc galaxies down to scales of ~10 pc using HST NICMOS images and found that the photometric masses of the central star clusters, which occur in 58% of their sample, are related to their host bulge masses such that MassPt = 10^{7.75\pm0.15}(MassBul/10^{10}MassSun)^{0.76\pm 0.13}.

TL;DR: The HST ACS Coma Cluster Treasury survey as discussed by the authors was designed to cover an area of 740 arcmin2 in regions of different density of both galaxies and intergalactic medium within the Coma cluster.
The relation between stellar populations, structure and environment for dwarf elliptical galaxies from the MAGPOP-ITP

TL;DR: In this article, a sample of 24 dwarf elliptical galaxies (dEs) in the Virgo cluster and in the field were analyzed using optical long-slit spectroscopy.
