Propiedades mecánicas de mezclas bituminosas en caliente fabricadas con áridos reciclados de residuos de construcción y demolición
TL;DR: In this paper, the mix design for asphalt mixtures containing recycled aggregates from construction and demolition debris was evaluated and the tests conducted to characterize the mechanical behaviour of these mixtures showed that the mechanical properties of mixtures with recycled and virgin aggregate are similar.
Asphalt mixtures with construction and demolition debris
Ignacio Pérez Pérez,Juan Gallego,Mar Toledano,Javier Taibo +3 more
- 01 Dec 2010
TL;DR: In this article, the technical viability of the use of construction and demolition debris in hot-mix asphalt was investigated and it was shown that the mixtures containing recycled aggregates were more open graded and had considerable potential for stripping, a characteristic that can be related to the high water absorption level of the mortar adhered to the recycled aggregate.
Fatigue and fracture performance of cold drawn wires for prestressed concrete
J. Toribio,Mar Toledano +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the fatigue and fracture performance of prestressing round steel bars which have undergone progressive strain hardening produced by repetitive cold drawing is analyzed. But the authors focus on the macroscopic evolution of the crack shape, together with a fractographic study of the broken specimens by scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

Caracterización del comportamiento a fatiga de mezclas bituminosas en caliente fabricadas con áridos reciclados
Ignacio Pérez Pérez,Juan Gallego Medina,Mar Toledano,Javier Taibo Pose,Simón Fernández Garrido +4 more
- 01 Jan 2007
TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the resistance to cracking due to fatigue of hot asphalt mixtures made with aggregates from construction and demolition debris and found that the fatigue laws constants in deformation were obtained, as well as, the dynamic modulus.

Viability of the Use of Construction and Demolition Debris in Hot Mix Asphalt
Ignacio Pérez Pérez,Mar Toledano,J Gallego +2 more
- 01 Jan 2009
TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated resistance to plastic deformation and cracking of two hot asphalt mixtures made with recycled aggregates from construction and demolition debris and used a multi-layered elastic-linear model to determine the variation in the service life of a section of pavement.
